STL24 is an event aimed at raising money for missionaries around the world. Students and leaders from all over the state come together for 24 hours of walking and running laps, all the while getting pledges from people to sponsor them for the laps that they finish as a group. Speed the Light is a fantastic missions organization, and the money goes to missionaries and helps them provide vehicles to get to the places where others haven't yet heard about Jesus. The money also helps kids in orphanages around the world, establishing care to those whose lives are torn apart by natural disasters, and helping to rid this world of the horrible effects of the sex slave trade.

On Friday and Saturday, September 11-12, 2020, we’ll be going to Waukesha for this year’s STL24. This is a 24 hour fundraiser to raise money for missionaries through Speed the Light. We’ll be walking/running laps. Click here to print off a pledge form, and you can have people pledge by the lap (figure 80 per person as a goal, or 600 as a group goal) or people can pledge a set amount total.

The biggest difficulty is that we have to require students to get their own rides to and from the event. The event will start at 7pm on Friday and will end at 6pm on Saturday. If you have any questions about transportation, please email Kellen at Plan to bring snacks (meals on Saturday are provided) and a tent to sleep in and changes of clothes/shoes. THIS EVENT IS ALWAYS ONE OF OUR STUDENTS’ FAVORITE EVENTS OF THE YEAR!
