Central is full of diverse people, and God made each of us to serve in different ways. Look through the teams below to find a serving opportunity that fits you. And don’t worry, we offer training so you can always feel confident each time you serve.
Central Kidz
Our mission at Central Kidz is to help kids to know Jesus and make Him known. Join us in helping kids birth - 5th grade learn about who God is and who they are through fun, hands-on activities, small groups, age appropriate teaching, worship, and more! Guest Services
As a part of the Guest Services team you will be creating a welcoming environment as you greet people to help everyone feel comfortable during our weekly services. Central Creative
Be a worshiper who helps lead worshipers. Serve on stage with your voice/instrument or behind the scenes with technology to help people connect with God through our weekly worship services. If you’d like to learn more or join the Central Creative team, click here.
Central Youth Janesville
Be part of leading the next generation. Central Youth Janesville (CYJ), our student ministry, addresses issues teens face through conversation, friendship, worship, small groups and teaching every Sunday night. If you’d like to learn more or join the CYJ team, click here.
Prayer Team

Small Groups
We have many different forms of small groups and bible studies that happen at central. If you are interested in either hosting a small group or bible study or leading a small group or bible study, click here.
Kidz Mid-Week
From October through April, you can be a part of our after-school program at Wilson Elementary. We run a VBS-style program for ages 4 through 5th grade. The program is on Wednesday's from 3:10-5:00. There are different roles available, some roles require being there by 3:10, some start at 4:00. If you’d like to learn more or join the Kidz Midweek team, click here.
Kidz in the Park
For 3 days in August, we run a VBS in the 4th Ward Park for kids around the Wilson Elementary School neighborhood. There are many roles to fill to make this ministry happen. If you’d like to learn more or join the Kidz in the Park team, click here.
Safety Team
Be a part of a team of trained volunteers who are committed to creating and maintaining a safe environment for our church people.
